Harsh Vardhan is a senior industry professional with over 35 years of work experience at large global organisations like ITC, JWT, O&M, HCL and Draft Worldwide. He was CEO of several firms and has had a track record of successfully launching and building well-known global brands across a wide range of categories, turning around underperforming businesses, and managing international assignments. He currently consults with established organisations and start-ups, advising them on growth strategies, product strategies, marketing and digital transformation.
Harsh has co-founded four entrepreneurial ventures in marketing, consumer Internet technologies and retail analytics. He has contributed significantly towards developing young entrepreneurs and is a visiting faculty at leading business schools including the IIMs, teaching courses in strategy and entrepreneurship. He has done significant work in the area of value innovation in the current technology driven environment. He has done his masters in economics and MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, a premier business school.
Rashid graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University and obtained his Masters degree in Industrial Engg. & Operations Research from IIT, Kharagpur. He worked in the Ferro Alloy Industry and Oil & Gas Industry for some time before joining the Project Finance division at Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). In IDBI he was associated for about 12 years with the appraisal of large Industrial Projects in various sectors including Infrastructure, Chemicals, Pharma, Oil & Gas, hospitality, cement, steel etc. In the later part of his career he moved over to Oman and in a span of 18 years was instrumental in establishing the Project Finance & Syndications divisions from a scratch in two local banks. Here too he was associated with large industrial projects and participated in several International Syndications particularly in the Oil & Gas, Power & Water, Petrochemicals and Real estate segments. He combines his engineering skills to a working knowledge of finance to offer practical solutions to the industry.
